Stage 1 Validator creation and environment
Stage 1 will run from 7-06-2021 13:00 UTC until 11-06-2021 13:00 UTC* *Challenge task will be available for submission until 14-06-2021 13:00 UTC Upcoming stages will be announced through the BitCanna Discord.

Task #1 Set up your validator and join bitcanna-testnet-2

Points awarded: 200
How to submit?
    1.
    Head to your Task Center dashboard, and click “Submit task”.
    2.
    Select the relevant task.
    3.
    In the “Proof” section, provide a link from the BitCanna explorer that points to your validator. Example: https://testnet-explorer.bitcanna.io/validator/9166DB39636EAB5B7A7F02EFC0785CC679242216
    4.
    Update your Validator name in your account settings in the Task center, in case your validator name doesn’t match.
Judging criteria:
    Full points awarded if you manage to set up an active validator
    No points if validator is inactive or if you failed to set it up

Task #2 Connect your validator to our prometheus analytics

Points awarded: 200
How to submit?
    1.
    Head to your Task Center dashboard, and click “Submit task”.
    2.
    Select the relevant task.
    3.
    In the “Proof” section, provide the public IP address of your server which runs your validator node.
Judging criteria:
    Full points awarded if you manage to connect your validator to prometheus analytics during the entire invitational testnet program
    100 points deducted if you fail to provide data until the end of the invitational testnet (5 stages)
    No points if your validator does not provide data to our prometheus analytics at all

Task #3 Publish a blog post about participating in the BitCanna testnet

Points awarded: 80 How to submit?
    1.
    Head to your Task Center dashboard, and click “Submit task”.
    2.
    Select the relevant task.
    3.
    In the “Proof” section, provide the URL to your blog post.
Judging criteria:
    Full points awarded if you create original, thoughtful, high-quality content that we can use and share in our communications, such as in our blogs or mention in our tweets.
    No points if your post lacks quality
Instructions
    Create an article with a minimum of 200 words that covers the BitCanna invitational testnet.
    If you don’t have a website, you can submit the post through Medium.
    You can write about anything related to the testnet. For example: Why you wanted to participate in the BitCanna invitational testnet, your first impression of the BitCanna invitational testnet, and unique or noteworthy customizations to your validator set-up
    Preferably, the article should be written in English, but if your English skills prevent you from creating high quality content, you can write the article in your native language.
    Including images, code snippets or links are highly recommendable.

Task #4 Tweet about the testnet

Points awarded: 20 How to submit?
    1.
    Head to your Task Center dashboard, and click “Submit task”.
    2.
    Select the relevant task.
    3.
    In the “Proof” section, provide the URL to your tweet
Judging criteria:
    Full points awarded if you create an original, high-quality tweet related to the BitCanna invitational testnet.
    No points if your tweet lacks quality
Instructions
Publish an original tweet on your twitter account about the BitCanna invitational testnet. Make sure to mention @BitCannaGlobal.

Task #5 [Challenge] Create a tool that benefits the validator community*

*Extended deadline. This task can be completed until 14-06-2021 13:00 UTC Points awarded (POOL): 500 • Nr 1. 250 points • Nr 2. 150 points • Nr 3. 100 points
How to submit?
    1.
    Publish your tool in your Github.
    2.
    Head to your Task Center dashboard, and click “Submit task”.
    3.
    Select the relevant task.
    4.
    In the “Proof” section, provide the URL to your Github (where you published the tool)
Judging criteria:
Ranking will be determined on a combination of the factors listed below:
    Overall improvement of the validator experience
    UX/UI and visual quality
    Relevancy, and impact on the BitCanna mainnet
Instructions
Create a tool or dashboard that has a significant impact on the BitCanna Validator ecosystem. Examples:
    A dashboard presenting metrics not reflected in the BitCanna Explorer
    Monitoring / alarm systems for validators
    Leaderboards for certain validator metrics
    Tools to improve/simplify the initial set up of a validator
    Etc.
BitCanna reserves the right to share and use your provided tool with the BitCanna community at any given time.
